I was really annoyed by a fellow councillor the other night. I had
quite a short fuse. I snapped at them out of frustration. Losing
control of myself is not something I am proud of.
When you come to Council you have to put aside what is happening at
home and at work and focus on working through the agenda.
If a councillor is worth their weight they will put aside their
opinions of people and focus on the topic. When councillors dismiss an
idea or suggestion by someone just because they do not like them then
this is a poor result. This happens.

I am unable to post on your Stoodley Arboretum page.
I entirely agree that the aboretum is a valuable asset for the local community and all attempts to destroy it should be resisted.
I managed a small project for the International Year of the Tree in the early 80's in Kentish .This was sponsored by the United Nations Asociation of Australia/Greening Australia. I know how much effort goes into establishing a tree.
An arboretum is like a living museum.This proposal is like allowing Visigoths to celebrate a 21st Birthday party in the Louvre.
Who will benefit from this logging operation? Surely not the majority of residents or visitors.
I support what you are trying to do here and hope I can be of some assistance.
