10,000 I read. We went both Sunday and Monday.
The photo is of the children having a tug-o-war with a steam engine.
I was very impressed by SteamFest this year. A small committee
achieved so much. A premier event for Sheffield.
My thoughts on being a councillor on Kentish Council in rural Tasmania Australia

I ran into the 'Wilson Clan' at Steamfest on Sunday. We were watching the Launceston Highland Pipes and Drum Band - the sound of the pipes drifting along the paddock, drowning out the odd steam engine was delightful.
I spoke to some residents who when I said are you going to Steamfest? replied "no, I've been once..." but I reckon it's a great YEARLY event, and a joy to see - something new every year, and it's always great to see yester-year in full force, with a wonderful hardworking volunteer committee bringing this awesome event together year after year.
So I say make an annual support of the Steamfest, make it a tradition... I do.
AND - think of all the exposure it brings to Kentish, a win-win situation for sure.
